Mobile app development in Windsor-Essex
iPhone and Android apps for customers, crews and staff. We have shipped our own apps, including a photo puzzle game and an iPhone home-screen widget, so we know the whole path from first screen to app store review.
What we build
Built to spec
Customer apps
Ordering, bookings, loyalty and account access in an app your customers keep on their phone.
Field and staff apps
Check-ins, photos, forms and job notes for crews on site, in the truck or on the shop floor, including offline use.
Widgets and notifications
Small, useful things on the home screen and timely alerts, like our BinDay widget.
App store launch
Developer accounts, store listings, privacy policies and review, handled for you.
How a project runs
Define, build, ship, improve
A first version of a focused app usually takes 6 to 12 weeks, plus app store review. We often start with a web app that works on any phone and add native apps when they earn their keep.
Define
A short call, then a written scope: what it does, what it doesn’t, and a price range.
Build
Weekly progress you can click on, not status reports.
Ship
Launch, training and the source code handed over.
Improve
Ongoing support and changes, or a clean handover to your team.
Questions
Before you ask
iPhone, Android or both?
Usually both, built from one codebase. If your users are mostly on one platform we may start there.
Do I need an app or a mobile website?
Often a fast mobile web app is enough and is cheaper to build and maintain. We will tell you honestly which fits.
Can you update an existing app?
Yes, if we can get access to the source code and the store accounts. We start with a short review of what is there.
Who publishes it?
The app is published under your business’s developer account, so you own the listing.
