RPMR Creations (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the YayOrNay mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.

We collect only the information necessary to operate the App.

A. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Password (securely hashed and not accessible in readable form)

Passwords are encrypted and stored using secure authentication services.

B. Profile Information

After registration, you may provide:

• A user-selected display name

This display name is used solely for identification within the App and does not need to be your real name.

C. Voting Activity

We store:

• Records of which account voted on which poll

This is necessary to:

• Prevent duplicate voting
• Maintain poll integrity

D. Friend Connections

If you add another user as a friend:

• We store the email address used to send the friend request
• We store confirmation of accepted friend connections

There is currently no direct in-app messaging functionality.

E. Future Commenting Features

If commenting functionality is introduced:

• We may store comments submitted by users
• Comments may be visible to other users within the App
• Comments will be associated with your display name

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Real names (unless voluntarily used as display names)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Advertising identifiers
• Payment information
• Contacts from your device
• Analytics or behavioral tracking data

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Authenticate users
• Enable participation in polls
• Prevent duplicate voting
• Manage friend connections
• Maintain system integrity and security
• Improve App functionality

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

Contractual Necessity

Processing your email and voting activity is necessary to provide the App’s core functionality.

Legitimate Interests

We process limited information to:

Consent

If additional features in the future require expanded data collection, we will rely on user consent where required by law.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored using Supabase, our secure backend infrastructure provider.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

• Secure authentication systems
• Password hashing
• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)

While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Supabase (for authentication and database services)

Supabase may process and store data on our behalf in accordance with its privacy and security practices.

We do not use advertising networks, behavioral tracking services, or third-party analytics tools.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only while your account remains active.

When your account is deleted:

• Your email address
• Display name
• Voting records
• Friend connections
• Any associated comments (if applicable)

are permanently removed from our active systems.

We do not retain identifiable user profiles after deletion, except where limited retention may be required by law.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account directly within the App at any time.

Upon deletion:

• All personal data associated with your account is permanently removed from our active systems.
• No action from our support team is required.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not specifically directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data without parental consent, we will delete it.
